DENTIFY® Sickle Probe or dental explorer has sharp, pointed working ends. Our probes have a Non-Magnet (non-rusting) handle and clean knurling for excellent control. Explorer 17/23 is used for exploring soft spots in the teeth that might indicate decay. The hook on the end is used for tactile investigation of the enamel, that can indicate early stages of decay.
