DENTIFY® American Pattern Extraction Forceps No. 53L are designed for Upper Left Molars.
ARTG (TGA) Listed | Premium Quality | 1 Year Warranty |
DENTIFY® American Pattern Extracting Forceps No. 53L are used for the extraction of maxillary (upper) left first and second molars. Double-angled bayonet design with an asymmetrical jaw profile. The left beak has a pointed tip to anchor directly into the bifurcated buccal roots. The opposite beak is smooth and deeply contoured to wrap securely around the large palatal root without crushing the tooth crown.
Traditional American-pattern box-joint hinge provides a perfectly smooth, fluid movement, balanced handling, and a secure grip during extractions.
The knurled handle enhances grip and provides optimal control. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, they offer durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent clinical performance.
Anatomical Left Configuration: Features a pointed left beak tip specifically engineered to engage the buccal bifurcation of maxillary left first and second molars.
Double-Angled Bayonet Architecture: Offset design allows the instrument to easily bypass anterior teeth, providing clear visibility and an ideal parallel entry path into the posterior upper left region.
Deep Beak Cavity: Internally contoured jaws distribute pressure evenly, preventing the slick enamel crown from fracturing or being crushed under load.
Bifurcation Anchor & Palatal Wrap: Dual-profile jaws maximize surface contact, eliminating rotational slippage and ensuring a rock-solid grasp.
American Box-Joint Hinge: Hidden, smooth-moving horizontal joint ensures long-term alignment stability and high tactile feedback.
Premium Construction: Crafted from medical-grade stainless steel for high corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability.
American Forceps No. 53L are the clinical standard for removing maxillary first and second molars in the upper left quadrant. The bayonet architecture allows for a clean, straight-line apical progression parallel to the tooth's long axis. Because upper molars are heavily anchored by three substantial roots, extraction relies on steady, controlled buccal-palatal luxation (rocking) to expand the socket.
Fully compatible with standard sterilization procedures.
