DENTIFY® American Pattern Extraction Forceps No. 88L - Nevius are designed for Upper Left Molars.
ARTG (TGA) Listed | Premium Quality | 1 Year Warranty |
DENTIFY® American Pattern Extracting Forceps No. 88L are used for the extraction of severely decayed, fractured, or broken-down maxillary (upper) left first and second molars. Nevius Cowhorn pattern features a distinct, split-jaw asymmetrical profile. The left beak features a single, deeply hooked, pointed structural prong designed to penetrate and lock directly into the buccal root bifurcation. The opposite palatal beak splits into two distinct, smooth-flared prongs designed to wrap securely around the large palatal root without slipping off the enamel crown.
Traditional American-pattern box-joint hinge provides a perfectly smooth, fluid movement, balanced handling, and a secure grip during extractions.
The knurled handle enhances grip and provides optimal control. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, they offer durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent clinical performance.
Anatomical Left Nevius Profile: Features a single pointed left buccal beak to engage the buccal bifurcation, paired with a dual-pronged palatal beak for a rock-solid, non-slip embrace.
Bayonet Offset Architecture: Double-curved design allows the instrument to comfortably bypass the anterior dentition, providing clear posterior visibility and an optimal parallel force trajectory.
Split-Prong Palatal Design: Unique split-beak architecture distributes grip forces over a wider surface area of the palatal root, protecting heavily compromised crowns from shattering.
American Box-Joint Hinge: Hidden, smooth-moving horizontal joint ensures long-term alignment stability and high tactile feedback.
Premium Construction: Crafted from medical-grade stainless steel for high corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability.
American Forceps No. 88L are the clinical gold standard for extracting upper left molars, particularly when the tooth crown is severely decayed, structurally compromised, or fractured at the gumline.
Fully compatible with standard sterilization procedures.
