DENTIFY® Dental Explorer TU17/23 is used for diagnostic, precise caries detection, calculus identification, and assessment of the tooth surface.

The TU17 end has a contra-angled tip for subgingival access and is useful for subgingival calculus and exploring around roots. The shepherd’s hook #23 end is sharply curved for efficient detection of caries and defects in pits and fissures. 

The TU17 end has a more refined and elongated angulation compared to the standard 17. This provides enhanced subgingival reach. 

A 10mm anatomical hollow handle provides optimal balance and comfort. The matte finish ensures a slip-resistant grip, enhancing control and precision.

Clinical Use of the Explorer 23/9:
The TU17/23 explorer is used in routine oral examinations, periodontal assessments, and restorative procedures. The TU17 tip’s improved angulation enhances access to posterior and interproximal areas. #23 end offers rapid detection of surface defects.

Sterilization
The probe is fully compatible with standard sterilization methods.
