DENTIFY® Dental Explorer 23/9 is used for detecting caries, calculus, and enamel irregularities. The explorer has a classic shepherd’s hook #23 and a fine, sharply pointed #9 tip.

The shepherd’s hook (23) end is sharply curved for efficient detection of caries and defects in pits and fissures. The #9 tip has a straight and finely tapered profile that provides access to tight interproximal spaces.

A 10mm anatomical hollow handle provides optimal balance and comfort. The matte finish ensures a slip-resistant grip, enhancing control and precision.

Clinical Use of the Explorer 23/9:
Explorer 23/9 is used for detecting lesions, identifying calculus deposits, evaluating restoration margins, and exploring fissures. Its double-end design allows seamless transitions. 23 tip is used for occlusal and pit exploration, while the #9 tip is effective for precise detection in interproximal areas
