DENTIFY® Dental Universal Sickle Scaler H6/H7 is used for the removal of supragingival calculus, plaque, and stubborn stains. It is universally regarded as the Hygienist Scaler. 

It's super-thin, contra-angle working ends give unrestricted access to interproximal and lingual surfaces of incisors, canines, and premolars, with the terminal shank running perpendicular to the face of the instrument for a clean 70–80° instrumentation angle.

Working end & instrument design

Each working end is a pointed sickle with two cutting edges, mirroring its partner end so the operator can address both toward and away surfaces without changing instruments. Mid-shank angulation positions the cutting tip parallel to the long axis of anterior teeth, while the shank's contra-angle provides clearance around the incisal edge. 

Clinical indications:

• Supragingival calculus on incisors, canines, and premolars
• Interproximal deposits in the anterior and bicuspid regions
• Light, accessible subgingival deposits where tissue allows
• Not indicated for: posterior molar root planing, deep subgingival debridement (use a Gracey or universal curette)
