DENTIFY® The Dental Explorer 11/12 ODU is used for tactile sensitivity and detecting subgingival calculus, caries, and root surface irregularities.
The Dental Explorer has fine, elongated, and curved working ends. Contra-angled shank adapts closely to the contours of the tooth. The curvature provides optimal subgingival access, particularly around root concavities and interproximal surfaces.
A 10mm anatomical hollow handle provides optimal balance and comfort. The matte finish ensures a slip-resistant grip, enhancing control and precision.
Explorer 11/12 ODU was designed by Old Dominion University.
Clinical Use of the Explorer 11/12 ODU:
The Explorer 11/12 ODU is used for subgingival calculus detection, caries identification, and root surface assessment. Its finely balanced working ends are effective for exploring deep periodontal pockets and interproximal areas.
Sterilization
The probe is fully compatible with standard sterilization methods.
