DENTIFY® Dental Explorer DG16 is used for detecting caries, calculus, and defects in enamel. Explorer DG16 is widely used in both general and endodontic dentistry. 

The Explorer has sharply angled tips. The tips extend at approximately 70–80° angles from the shank. The tips taper to a fine, elongated point, allowing deep access into narrow fissures, restoration margins, and root canal orifices.

The angular configuration provides excellent visibility and reach in posterior and interproximal areas.

A 6mm hollow handle is lightweight and offers superior balance and control during examinations. Ergonomically designed handle reduces hand fatigue. Matt finish provides a slip-resistant grip.

Clinical Use of the Explorer DG16:
Explorer DG16 is used for detecting caries, calculus, and micro-leakage around restorations. It is commonly used in endodontics to locate canal orifices and assess root canal access. Also suitable for general dental examinations and restorative procedures.

Sterilization
The probe is fully compatible with standard sterilization methods.
